Yes, this was a creepy ad. I looked at the Audi website to compare this car to others. Oddly enough, you are unable to compare it to the VW SportWagon TDI, which gets exactly the same mileage.
Just checked to see if this was the same one you posted a while back in the ASL group on "tales of incredible bravado and rotten luck." Oh yes. It was!
No doubt the gun crew earned the Croix De Guerre! Did multiple hits come into play in this situation? Love that rule with the "pop-gun" early war ordnance! Lemmesee...this is three halftracks and two tanks, although it looks like there's yet ANOTHER…
Most of my friends are my political opposite, and that doesn't stop us from a round of golf, a scenario of ASL, or a spirited political discussion. But, if you want a dose of politics, there are plenty of forums for that, from Hot Air to Huffington…

Thanks! Starship Trooper remains my favorite Yes tune of them all, with lots of high school memories. There are some lost high school memories too, as it was the seventies, associated with that song.

So, what are you giving away? I couldn't find the photo but would be interested in finding out what other goodies you are getting rid of.
No problem Chris, actually if you can find 1 or 2 opponents you can eventually get through a 39 campaign. The nice thing about the computer is that you can whip through (even solo) turns rather quickly since the computer implements the rules leaving you to concentrate on strategy and tactics. I think you'll be surprised how far you can get solo. With PBEM you just wait on your opponents moves.
You're welcome Steve. I have two copies likely sitting in a flower bed getting watered on daily until I can get back home. The delivery guys always seem to find the wet spots to set them down. ;)
Ah, gotcha. I haven't been to a convention in a long time. I think it was the year Code of Bushido came out! But as time goes by, I hope to have more free time. Even to travel.
Read "The Last Duel" by Eric Jager. Subtitled: A True Story of Crime, Scandal, and Trial by Combat in Medieval France. Could be a Hollywood movie??? Good.

I'd like to personally invite you all to read a full preview (13Mb PDF link) of our new fast-playing (30 minutes) tactical WWII card game, Frontline General: Spearpoint 1943 in our newsletter. I'm happy to announce that we've just passed the 200 p…
I've found the internal debate (i.e. the debate in my head) has been to either play a lot of games poorly or a few games well. I prefer the latter model, but then you must, as you say, find that set of holy grail games that one chooses to become goo…
Chris:
Really - that's a good point. I wonder if the Audi folks realized the message they were sending out with this one. I doubt if anyone found it funny in the least.

I've recently printed and built "To the Last Man." I was able to play the game and get an idea of its look and feel beforehand thanks to BGG and Cyberboard. It's an excellent game, one well worth the bother.
I _hope_ it is just by unfortunate accid…
