Hi Chris, thanks for the kind words. I am happy you find the house rules useful. It is really a long time since I have played Pacific War - oh, the memory!

Full info definitely includes TQ. We thought that when ground troops search, they take prisoners, and send patrols, and they get a good idea of their opponent. When air units search, they can see the number of troops, and they can see gun emplacements, and so on, but they can’t see the uniforms or determine if it is a guard unit or a reserve unit. That was the idea that we had when we made our house rule.
