What'cha been doing lately?  Hey, you need to change your City to JC!

It's funny, I see your wife pretty regularly at the library, but you are like a ninja hiding in the shadows.

Yes, I am still traveling to Chicago every week. It gets tiresome to be away from home so much, but I keep reminding myself what a blessing it is to have gainful work.

Change of subject ... my wife and I would like very much to start a gaming group at the public library in Linn once a month. Can you float that idea past Tammy and see what she thinks?

Corey, how the heck are you? Usually I see your wife regularly at the library, but I've even been slacking off with that.

Thanks, Corey. I'm in the middle of trying to post some new pics myself. Not gaming pics, per se - just family stuff.

Welcome aboard Corey! Nice pictures. Are the ship models from WotC's Axis & Allies: War at Sea figures? You did a nice job modifiying them.

Eeeeeexellent. The Jedi mind trick worked. Corey, it's been forever since we talked. I'm in the airport right now, but give me a call sometime around 8 or 9 o'clock and I should be in my Chicago home. I'll email you my phone number. If you don't see any of this until later, just call me whenever.

Uploaded Pictures

I have just uploaded about half of my pictures from the 2008 Big Muddy Command Con. It was in November at the St. Louis Mills Mall in Missouri. If you want to look at the other pictures they are at http://www.flickr.com/photos/clparis/sets/72157609278399141/ I don't have all of them labeled on flickr at this time but I am working on it. If you have any questions about the pictures ask away and I will try to get you some… Continue

My friend Lewis invited me to this group so I am checking it out. Don't know what I will do with this but there is only one way to know for sure. I have sent a message to the Big Muddy Historical Gaming Association (BMHGA.org) and that might get some more people interested. Sadly the only two gaming shops that I know of near me closed and the closest is 1hr away. Not something I can get to regularly. I am trying to get in contact with some guys I gamed with while I was teaching but I'm not have… Continue

Profile Information

Your introduction to consim gaming:
I was introduced to wargaming by a coworker around 10 years ago. I play whatever is on the table as I don't have any real collections myself. I have a reputation as a poor dice roller especially when it comes to saving roles. I do sometimes come up with weird moves which comes from not knowing what would have happened historically.
Your favorite game(s):
I like Ship of the Line, Wings of War, Hero Scape, AD&D (when I can find a group), and Mechwarrior.
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
Gladiatus
What game(s) have you played recently?
Gladiatus; DiscWorld MUDD; At Command Con: Wings of War, Star Wars(home rules), WWII Tanks, WWII Plains, Napoleonic
In general, how much time do you spend gaming?
When I can
How big is your game collection?
A few LOTR figs and some Hero Scape
Your local game club(s) and/or where you reside (let's network!)
Big Muddy Historical Gaming Association, St. Louis
