There's a few of us who like both SCS and those games replicating very old battles during very old times (e.g., Au Fil de l'Epée and its brethren as well as the Men of Iron system). I find I solitaire those latter games, though, more often than not!
TRW The Random Wargamers are meeting this Saturday, around noon I think. At a store in Lakewood, called the Bunker. Near the Corner of Paramount and Del Amo behind Carl's Jr. I have not been to either location, and tomorrow is iffy for me.
What are the requirements for the Guild house, hourly fee, free, ???
I am between jobs and schooling right now so I might be able to squeeze out some game time. What would you want to try? If I have it I can read or reread the rules, before we get together to play.
I'd certainly be up for playing a couple of games with you CC:A or others. Truth be told, my regular gaming group is more into RPGs and Euros and I don't get much opportunity to play war games -- and I really want to give some of them a try as they interest me greatly. In addition to CC:A, what would you be interested in playing?
Howdy, Blythe is a bit far (about 85-90 miles from El Centro. I don't know of any local "wargamers" Let me know if you move down here; be happy to help you with stuff like where you DON'T want to live, etc. Some FtF gaming would be cool !
