Would I be interested? Sure. However, given the distance I don't think I can commit to a campaign game. I live in Cary so it's an hour to Greensboro in light traffic and another, what, 25 to 30 minutes to Kernersville, if…"
"Hi Dick, Adam Starkweather have me your name. He said you were a GTS player. I am looking to start a campaign of TDC/WED in the Greensboro area. Let me know if this interests you.
"I will leave the times up to the players who commit. I am not free Thursday or Friday evenings, but am free most other weeknights and some weekend days. The scope will depend on the number of players. I started WED and TDC…"
"Upstairs in the appartment abbove the garage, where we first played Sicily. Once a week or every second week. Number of players would depend on which campaign we played. The full giant game would best be played with at least 4…"
"Looking for FTF players for Devil's Cauldron/Where Eagles Dare. I have a dedicated location in Kernersville to set up the entire 19 ft. long monster. Will teach system if you are not familiar with Grand Tactical Series.
Would I be interested? Sure. However, given the distance I don't think I can commit to a campaign game. I live in Cary so it's an hour to Greensboro in light traffic and another, what, 25 to 30 minutes to Kernersville, if you'll be playing at your place.
But if you'll be playing on a Saturday I would be interested at some point to stop by, meet you, and kibitz.
I assume you may know Dick Whitaker, who also lives in Kernersville. The group that meets at his place has invited me to stop in and visit with them. I understand they'll be starting Mont St. Jean soon. I could maybe do both in one day. :-)
Don Evans is part of that group and I know he recently purchased WED. He is also semi-retired and willing to drive that direction. (He's a bit closer--in Chapel Hill.) You might consider contacting him, too, email@example.com.
Thanks for contacting me. It'd be good if we could at least get together at some point.
Glad to have you aboard! We are trying to get all the local gamers to join the Triad Wargaming Group, it is a handy way to communicate to a local group of gamers and is very casual on participation. You and Vernon may pick up some new OCS friends.
