EURO FRONT II

I have been thinking about investing in EURO FRONT II from columbia games.  I am afraid it  will end up as one of those monster games on my shelf that I never get to play.  I figure I don't have to set the WHOLE thing up.  I could just play the smaller scenarios.  Does anybody have this.  How does it play in sections?
