Hi Dorien,

Just signed up for ConsimWorld and saw your post looking for local gamers. There is a fairly large gaming group that meets twice per month (Sat or Sun) at at a Sr Citizens Center near Ft Belvoir. We are known as the KGB (Kingstown Gamers Bde). There are probably 200 members of which 20-24 show up for  any one session. Games played range from A&A to GMT Virgin Queen, COIN, Columbia Games, etc. LMK if you want more info.

Dorian, sorry for the delay in my response. Our crew in the VA suburbs usually plays Euros. We do so most Saturdays, and there is a second contingent ususally meeting in DC that is a little more apt to play Ameritrash. Of course, you can definitely get heavier stuff in, but need to sort of arrange it ahead of time. I am also always looking for folks interested in a little wargaming.

Drop me an email if interested and I'll send you the meeting details.
