Will I ever learn?

After finishing our extensive WiF campaign, I am currently fighting to learn, once and for all, to play ASL. As expected, my first lessons come from ASLSK1. I already mentioned our first session last week and things could really have been better for me... this week I've realized I will learn the hard way, so much for my battered ego.

We played the War of the Rats scenario a couple of times. I first played as the wicked German... I blasted, I machine-gunned, I roasted ruskies... and… Continue

V for Victory?... errr.... no.... S für Sieg!!!

A lot of gaming activity in the last couple of weekends.

Believe it or not, our WiF game has reached an end with the moral collapse of our opponents. In the last post, we left the game with a fair Axis situation, but with black clouds slowly approaching. Well... the clouds were no more than black cotton and the sun shines again all over Europe for the Axis forces.

To break the stalemate in France, the Allies have landed north and south of Lisbon… Continue

Currently playing

I am just in the middle of a very busy work period so my playing time is reduced to a minimum. Nevertheless, I am still able to snatch some time to keep playing... I will die with a counter in my hand... that's my doom and I have assumed it :-)

I am currently playing World in Flames. It's my third experience with this game and my second as the German player, so don't expect much from my limited proficiency as the "1000-year Reich" leader :-P

As a global opinion, I am… Continue
