Second Front

This is my tun-based game 'Second Front' for PC and Mc. It is showing tactical WW2 actions of single leader, troops, weapons like MGs or Flamethrowers up to Tanks and Guns. It comes with a map- and scenario-editor for players can share their ideas on steam workshop.See More

Profile Information

Your favorite game(s):
All hex based wargames and the PC Combat Mission series. I've invested a lot of time and effort into Advanced Squad Leader and Advanced Tobruk System. I find both systems cover thoroughly (a bit of an understatement) tactical wargaming. But I enjoy all historical periods and scales. Lately I have explored and enjoyed more modern takes on the genre like Warfighter, Pavlov's House and U-Boat games etc.
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
ASL, ATS, White Death, Nations at War series.
What game(s) have you played recently?
ATS, Combat Commander, Pavlov's House, Warfighter, ASL.
In general, how much time do you spend gaming?
2-4 hours a day
How big is your game collection?
Medium
Your local game club(s) and/or where you reside (let's network!)
DC Conscripts ASL Club & Fairfax Wargame Grognards
About Me
Started wargaming late 70's when I discovered Squad Leader and later Panzer Blitz-I was hooked and never stopped playing, collecting and tinkering with all manner of wargames with a special interest at the tactical level. Recently retired LEO, ex-US Army infantryman trying my hand at wargame design through my independent design studio-Art of Wargames.
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
Wargaming, reading, history, wargame design, movies and bow hunting.

Am glad to see LNL NATIONS AT WAR series move to Steam as I have the old 1st Edition versions but was hesitating to get the 2nd Editions hardcopy.  But I may take the bait as I think a lot of the modern WORLD AT WAR 85 series that is so very similar to it, even though I have all the older versions of that series as well.  Definitely adore ASL, ASLSK, and have a few ATS games.  Need to play more in the Combat Commander series for WW II as I've gotten distracted by GREAT WAR COMBAT COMANDER!  And I've not broken out PAVLOV'S HOUSE yet (although I should in these COVID-19 times but have been doing other solitaire games instead).  Confess I've never even seen the WARFIGHTER series played, much less been involved with it.
