1914 TiTe - First Battles

The 1.Corps commanded by Francois attacks the russian 20.Corps with both Divisions. The russians put his second Division in the Battle, but lost it. But now in the second turn, he came back, pinned the 1.Corps and go to attack.

wondering why a Cav.Div could move further with the railroad then a Inf.Div., did the horses speed up the Train :) ?

1914 TiTe Tannenberg Scenario

all units at start. not so much , from the 7 counter sheets only 1/2 a german units, 1/2 austro and 1 russian. one sheet with Improved positions, one with step reduction counter, two with attachment markers and the last with informational markers.
the russians take the first turn, second Corps moves to Lyck, rolls for Experience Level and gains 14 VP. the germans in the counter movement phase decides to move his entrained units from the 17.Corps to Deutsch Eylau.

Commanders in 1914 TiTE

i am wondering about the commanders in TiTE, they have not much impact of combats, are only one or two times event and the counters look bad, no picture of them, only the name. i think two special rules had did the same effect.

1914 TiTe

Actually learning 1914 Twilight in the East. very well written rulebook, i enjoy the reading.
have setup the tannenberg camapign on the northern map with the eight army against the second russian.
good looking map, small counter density, much thinking about supply and depot ranges.

Hi Ingo,

Saw your note on league game. Was that for the defunct Wargameroom league? I had a lot of issues that last time I tried using it. Props to Bruce Wigdor though, as I know it is a royal challenge to try and get all the logic right for this 'different' sort of game.

My preference would be more wargames, but my local community is small, so I have to travel to another city to wargame. I notice your page lists Paths of Glory, care to play a game of it on ACTS.
