I'm coming back to them all. I'm migrating into ASL, liked my intro to OCS, I like the CDGs, the blocks, the Combat Commanders, the Conflict of Heroes, SCS, and I'm hoping to start some TCS now too.
I'm not locked down to one game or system. I wish I had space for monsters, but I don't. With my schedule and work demands, I need games that can wrap up in a session for now.
I've avoided miniature gaming for a very long time, not because I'd not like it (I knew I would), but because of space and time. Board War Games take up less space and tactical systems like ASL, Combat Commander, and Conflict of Heroes are really miniature combat with cardboard.
I've started a gaming group for Throw Down Thursdays at the Source in MN with my friends Bob and Jim; my goal is simple: to get my war games more in play, to see new ones, and to create exposure and pull in new players. I'm not shy and will play them out in public.
I will engage with anyone.
The thing I love best in the games? The playing with people--period.

A life long gamer and a good guy.
Pleasant, out going, good at getting my cardboard wiped from the field in one game...learning...and paying you back in the next play.
I like people. I like games. I like the time together.
Never stop learning, be OK to take a chance, keep fighting, go down swinging, laugh, and have fun; all good mottoes.
I can be clever, bold, subtle, smart, stupid, cautious, calculating, and reckless all in one round. :o)
However, I will not loose my smile, humor, fun or grace.
