About Me
Ive been gaming since 1975. I prefer board war games but also play a few RPGs like Original D&D and 1e Ad&D, Call of Cthulhu, Boot Hill, Traveller (my favorite) and a few others.

Mostly board wargaming is dead in S.E. KS so I hope to get some real game time in while in KC despite the fact I am in the hospital - and no I am not contagious.

I play guitar when my arthritis cooperates and I used to do medieval and civil war reenactments. I consider myself a history buff but my knowledge is not encyclopedic like some and never will be but I still love history - especially the War years of WWII and the ACW.

I am engaged to the LOML and I also have a beautiful little girl named Annie who I miss very much right now - did I mention she is a cocker spaniel? Heh

I used to be a diesel mechanic and then a computer programming and tech wizard but after I got sick and became disabled the world passed me by so no I am a JOAT and work when I feel like and try to play wargames or read the rest of the time.

I'm glad that you fixed the link, because it's an interesting blog. I'm a longtime cardboard-pusher with limited experience with RPG's; I had a lot of fun with computer titles in the past, especially Wasteland, but the D&D fanatics sometimes seemed a little too closed for me. I liked the company around board wargames better than some of the behaviors that you note on your web site.

I do hope that you recover soon too.

I tried to check out your web site, but it's a broken link.
