"It depends on which book. The taller, thinner book is rather light reading, while the shorter thicker one is extremely detailed. Depends on what you're looking for. I kept the more detailed book."

"Whoa, I disagree big time. I find Fighting Sail far more enjoyable than WSIM. I would have agreed had you mentioned Frigate, which I didn't think was any better than WSIM. Fighting Sail just struck as a great game, one of my favorites."

"Which one? The thin book is not as detailed as the thick one. there is an incredible amount of detail in the latter, but it is a rather dry read."

"I have GPG's Rebel Yell on the Wargame table. I've only played 4 of the intro scenarios but have had a lot of fun with it. I just put away Red Star White Star, by SPI, and had a blast with that game. Somehow that doesn't seem right!"
