Looking doubtful, Brian. I've had the flu this week, and don't think I'll be past contagious by tomorrow.

Yah, my "son". Just don't tell the other 4 kids. We live in Sun Lakes; are you also in AZ? (BTW, you can email me at scouterpmphx@ gmail.com rather than through Consim) I'm specifically going to Consim to play EuroFront. You?

Fleets 2025

I'm playtesting this new game Fleets 2025 from Victory Point Games. It's about hypothetical future naval conflict between the US and Chinese naval forces in waters near Taiwan. Like the entire line at VPG, it's a simple game (five pages of rules so far). But I have gut feeling that VPG and designer Chris Taylor are going to have a big-time seller. We'll see.

I've found the internal debate (i.e. the debate in my head) has been to either play a lot of games poorly or a few games well. I prefer the latter model, but then you must, as you say, find that set of holy grail games that one chooses to become goo…

Chris: Really - that's a good point. I wonder if the Audi folks realized the message they were sending out with this one. I doubt if anyone found it funny in the least. Smitty
