Your introduction to consim gaming:
My first wargame was Avalon Hill's 1914 around 1970. My brother and a friend of his were playing it and I was mesmerized. He let me try it one day and I was instantly hooked. I've been playing consims (wargames) non-stop ever since.
Your favorite game(s):
I have many favorite games. My favorite series of games are GBACW, GCACW and The Ancient World.

Let's give it a shot - hopefully we can get another player involved!

Kevin - so far no one else has responded. I know there will be a notice in the next catalogue of the rec department here which comes out in April. I hope to get a few calls! As for what type of game - I would bring something not to complicated - that can be played in none sitting. We may get some people in who have not played before - don't want to turn them off. I plan on bringing "Blue Max" and perhaps "Pacific Typhoon" just released by GMT - It's a card game for 3 to 6 players. It will be new to me.

This will be an informal get together to see how things gel.

At least I know now I have a potential opponent nearby!

Kevin - check out the group I created for metro Atlanta Gamers. I've set up a meeting April 26 in Peachtree City to see if I can't get area gamers together at least once a month.

You have 1914? Any chance I could get the text of the options cards some day? I seem to be missing two cards :(
