Kevin, I found out that I'll be doing some work in Quincy the week of July 14th, Aside from your Thursday evening RPG group, is there any other gaming that typically takes place during the week? I'd love to sit in on a casual session, if so.

Kevin,

Sorry that it has taken so long for me to reply. "War in the Shadows" has been backburnered and when it comes to light again it will probably be with KPG. The ACW is in a slump currently in popularity. However, I read that Ty Bomba is thinking of the Trans-Miss.

I picked up an updated edition of P. W. Singer's 'Corporate Warriors' at Kinokuniya last night. Hopefully, this doesn't have that silly, flippant tone of 'Wired for War' which was attempting a cross-over mainstream appeal for increased sales. There…

1100 sees the Union capture the initiative with Buford's division getting the first move. We see troopers make some minor moves to better man their breastwork defenses but no agressive action. A staggered line of breastworks dot the east side of Her…

I thought the only possible mitigation could come from severe mental illness, or perhaps a cerebral parasite that's eating away at the tastefulness center of the brain.

I suppose the bad taste of it can be ameliorated by assuming they're for Halloween. Such assumptions are occasionally required to tolerate ones own species.

My apologies for my delayed response. I usually get comment notices sent to my e-mail account. This time I didn't.

I never heard of this one until I came across the display in Vancouver. Here's a wikipedia entry I found: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ram_tank

Yes, this one's a Sherman. The RAM in the other picture was based on the Sherman chassis but built in Canada. I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier, normally I get response notices sent to my e-mail, but somehow I didn't receive your comment.

Not this Friday, as the wife and I have to pick up grandchildren from daycare at 5PM and hang with them until 8PM. That little chore is variable once weekly.

I am not an artist but the sketches are good. They look like wood cuts or acid etchings and then printed. I will show them to my brother, a graphic artist. He should find them interesting. Check out his Civil War sketches are my page. Enjoyed the ph…
