Hi Larry,
Thanks! As a clarification though, I have to say that I'm not a Marine. It's a compliment to be confused with them, but I can't claim membership.

Hi Larry. Yes, I'm very familiar with Nash's book--you'll see my comments on it to Daniel Red Cloud Brown elsewhere on this website as we talk about the republication of Jack Radey's KORSUN POCKET, my all time favorite monster game. Hope you find stuff you like here!

Welcome aboard! Yup, I was one of the ASL playtesters and have also been playing, although it seems I spend more time teaching new players than mastering the intricacies of the Desert and PTO rules! Oh, I am hoping for that CH reprint of TokTong Pass since I missed it the first time it was out. Being a Marine, it's a big deal to me. Plus, I got some of the Korean maps of the area to Lee Forester for his TCS game, SEMPER FI. Since you've been embroiled in VOTG, have you seen the maps Dave Glantz put in his second volume of his Stalingrad trilogy, ARMAGEDDON AT STALINGRAD? Awesome, awesome stuff....

I've found the internal debate (i.e. the debate in my head) has been to either play a lot of games poorly or a few games well. I prefer the latter model, but then you must, as you say, find that set of holy grail games that one chooses to become goo…

Chris: Really - that's a good point. I wonder if the Audi folks realized the message they were sending out with this one. I doubt if anyone found it funny in the least. Smitty

I've recently printed and built "To the Last Man." I was able to play the game and get an idea of its look and feel beforehand thanks to BGG and Cyberboard. It's an excellent game, one well worth the bother. I _hope_ it is just by unfortunate accid…

Yes, this was a creepy ad. I looked at the Audi website to compare this car to others. Oddly enough, you are unable to compare it to the VW SportWagon TDI, which gets exactly the same mileage.
