Mike, I hope to take you up on that someday. Right now I'm caring for my father-in-law with my wife Sue, living out of suitcases for the foreseeable future. He's 93 and in relatively good shape, but we took him out of his retirement community on the advice of his doctor who said he can't deal with the social isolation there. Who knows how long this will go one. In the meantime, I'm engaged in my full time job of teaching US Army majors online in the Command and General Staff College and I am the most senior faculty on the team (and end up teaching the greatest course load as well!). So I've not gotten to wargame much, and it's doubly irritating because there are several warmers amongst my colleagues and NONE of us are able to spare any time for what we love to do best! -- Eric
Michael, you have my admiration for getting through THE BATTLE OF NORMANDY, even if just some scenarios. I have a copy but have yet to play it. I also like the Revolution Games titles you mention, particularly across the Narva because I used to participate in battle staff rides with Baltic Defence College classes in that area when I was teaching there. You also have eclectic tastes in wargame topics (so do I), which is great! I've not yet played GD '42 as I'm a TCS fan but hope to. FLATTOP, THE LEGEND BEGINS, EFS, and THE KILLING GROUND/OPERATION OVERLORD by NES are also huge favorites of mine.
