I raise a glass to your impending retirement!  Full time teaching is a mixed blessing--the grading takes so much extra time, and then there are those other requirements (like writing and publishing) that eats into personal scheduling.  I'd be doing a lot more wargaming if it weren't for that!

I hope you can indulge your taste in monster games.  As for me, I'm only able to play the fast-playing ones or those that have smaller scenarios so I get the benefit of the detail in bite-sized digestible chunks!

It's nice to have games left up to play.  I've also got a room dedicated to games and have an 8 foot by 5 foot custom built game table that lets me keep three games going simultaneously as well.  Retired from a full Marine Corps career and am a professor for the Army now, so am able to indulge in my hobby and have more wargame opponents than time!  Still got my copy of the pink and blue AH Battle of the Bulge game, as well as the other classics!  Can't part with it!

Michael, welcome to the CONSIMWORLD Social Website!  Hope you find some Groups that you want to join in on or--if you don't find ones that interest you--that you'll start your own!  I too enjoy some of the big games (e.g., "Monsters") and at last have the space to play them, just not the time!    Also enjoy the block games for something a little faster playing....
