About Me
Land-locked San Diego surfer. I accepted a position in Dallas in 1998 but still visit California regularly. I have played wargames and sci-fi/fantasy games off-and-on since I was a kid and I enjoy eurogames as well. My lovely wife will occasionally humor me and play a light euro or light ameritrash game but she'd rather "cuddle." Fortunatley, I have met a great group of gamers here in Dallas which is something I never had in California.

A few other tidbits about me:
- Father of two daughters
- Born in Seattle, WA; raised in San Jose, CA
- Department director for an organ donation agency
- Former U.S. Marine
- Love my blue Mini Cooper S
- Like mid-century retro style
- Favorite color is orange
- Own two dice towers
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
Sports: Surfing, kayaking, etc.
Books: History, natural history
Music: Mostly 80's & 90's alternative
Movies: LotR, Saving Private Ryan, comedies, etc.

I have been developing Nordwind off and on for a few years. In fact the alpha version is complete except for charts. Rules, cards and counters are done. My grandfather served with the 70th (Task Force Herren during Nordwind) and I have been involved with their association since 1996 as webmaster and now as president-elect.

The desihn is meant to be an introductory card/area movement game.
