Tom, thanks. You are right. Thierry Aradan's CB file has a much nicer map. It isn't easy to change the VP spaces on it though (I dropped some extra markers on the space to remember). I'll try that and see how it goes.
How are people tracking the board usually? I see there's a Vassal module, but it doesn't seem to allow solo play. Is there a recommended method for this?
I was thinking I could make a Hi Res scan of the counter you are looking for. Naturally, I cannot send the counter itself - it is still in the shrink wrap! Which one are you looking for again?
I was thinking I could make a hi res scan of the counter you are looking for. Naturally, I cannot give up the counter itself, the game is still in the shrinkwrap! Perhaps you could ID the counter again for me?
Thanks for the message. Actually I'm Nick, but if you want to call me Chad, i guess that's fine :)
I've been in Japan since '92 doing IT mostly in the executive search industry. Being here and also hearing about the B-17 game (which I just can't seem to win on Ebay) made me interested in the B-29 game. I need a good solitaire game for my collection I think. I'm hoping B-29 will be the one!
Chad - thanks for joining the B-29 group! Tokyo, Japan - what brings you there? I was stationed at MCAS Iwakuni from 77-78 - jeez 30 years ago already!!!

I've found the internal debate (i.e. the debate in my head) has been to either play a lot of games poorly or a few games well. I prefer the latter model, but then you must, as you say, find that set of holy grail games that one chooses to become goo…
Chris:
Really - that's a good point. I wonder if the Audi folks realized the message they were sending out with this one. I doubt if anyone found it funny in the least.

I've recently printed and built "To the Last Man." I was able to play the game and get an idea of its look and feel beforehand thanks to BGG and Cyberboard. It's an excellent game, one well worth the bother.
I _hope_ it is just by unfortunate accid…
