Thank you very much for watching my photos, and yeah, I had really fun
time in Yokota Air Base Festival.
I am also happy to hear that you enjoyed wargames developed by the
Japanese game publisher. Wargaming in Japan is alive :-) and getting
more active for the last few years, a number of new wargames are
released by the domestic game publishers. We also play the overseas
games as you might know through my photos.
I had a chance to look for the games you mentioned, which depicts a
hypothetical scenario: The Soviet invasion of Hokkaido. I guess these
are published by ADTECHNOS: Seventh Armored Division, Northern Army,
Fifth Division, which can be combined to play. It was also a monster
game that I wanted to play at that time.

Loved your photos, even though I don't know a number of the games (MINSK /41, etc). Your pictures of Yokota brought back a lot of memories for me! I miss Japan so much...hope that wargaming in Japan is alive and well! I have a number of old Hobby Japan games that I used to play--YAMATO!, PACIFIC FLEET, LEOPARD II, BITTER END (now redone and available from Compass Games here in the U.S.). Always wanted to get one on the Soviet invasion of Hokkaido (forget the name of it) but it was practically a monster game and too expensive for my budget when I was a junior officer first stationed in Okinawa in 1982...now I kick myself for not buying/playing it!
