Profile Information

Your introduction to consim gaming:
It's been so long ago I can't hardly remember. Back in those days we played with stone pieces on bearskin boards scratched out using sharpened sticks.
Your favorite game(s):
Hard to pick favorites among all the games I have played (not to mention the handful I have designed or devleoped). Lately, though, I think Mark Herman's card driven games, particularly For the People and Empire of the Sun, along with Ted Raicer's Paths of Glory, are probably highest on my list of most admired designs. The Down in Flames series is one of my favorites to play at conventions and Combat Commander is one of the games I wish I could play more than I get the chance to.

Thanks, Peter. Would love to know more about it. Picked up a copy of Joe and John's Battle for Baghdad but haven't had a moment free to play it thus far.

Hello Peter,

Glad to hear you got to see my buddy Paul Works at the MORS conference.

WE're busy moving to a new place lately, so not much gaming going on.

Monstercon was a good time.

I've been watching for you, Peter. Glad to see you on board.

Let me suggest checking out the Group: Going Pro - Operations Analysis and ConSim Gaming.

Planning to be at WBC this year?

Hi Peter,

nice to see you here. I remember this pic of you as the one from the back of your book on wargaming - time seems to stand still ;-)

I enjoyed that book especially because you belong to the 'grognard brotherhood' (one with many sisters as I can see now here on the social CSW site) and it was a great overview on the topic. And you like Mark Herman designs!! :-)
