Been collecting and playing 1/72 plastic army historical and Star Fleet Battles miniatures and boardgames for 30 years. I started with WW2 1944-1945 Western Front using Tractics and have incrementally expanded to French and Indian War up to Korean War. I gladly join other games and scales; I just haven't expanded my collection to other scales yet.
Your favorite game(s):
The Russian Campaign/Fortress Europa, GBACW series, any historical miniatures rules, Star Fleet Battles
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
Working on my North African / early Italian Campaign US Army miniatures.
What game(s) have you played recently?
Memoir '44 with after school youth program I volunteer for.
In general, how much time do you spend gaming?
5 hrs/week but increasing; recent empty nester
How big is your game collection?
200+ board games and many miniatures rules
Your local game club(s) and/or where you reside (let's network!)
Scotch & Soldiers
Spent 2/3 of my life in Virginia and the most recent 1/3 in Pittsburgh. Great interest in War of 1812, ACW, and WW2.
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
Love to hike and bicycle, cook, sing, read, youth mentor, watch soccer (I coached youth rec for 14 years) and be a good husband and parent to our adult children. I have a broad spectrum of friends politically and culturally. I want to encourage a broader demographic of youth to consider careers in STEAM.

Welcome to the website! You seem to be a Renaissance Man/Wargamer with a diverse set of interests! Let us know how your miniatures games are going (and certainly post pictures). I remember TRACTICS rules but haven't played in decades! I also like the sound of your group, "Scotch and Soldiers." Sounds like my kind of club!
