Rabid board gamer who mostly plays 18XX, heavy economic and heavy Euro games. I'm looking to join a wargaming group (prefer board games over miniatures). I love ACW and WWII mostly, but will play nearly anything. I have played ASL a few times (loved it!) and a few, old Avalon Hill titles (Russian Campaign, Devil's Den, etc.). Currently, I am really in love with GMT's Triumph and Tragedy and Fields of Despair. Hoping to learn Holland '44 and COIN games soon.
Personal Interests (favorite activities, movies, shows, books, music, etc.)
Welcome to Consimworld Social, Randall! Yes, Fields of Despair sure is quite a tense playing experience for either side! Think you will really enjoy Holland '44! The COIN series is an acquired taste; I really love that series but understand that it's not for everybody! Try out Colonial Twilight--if you like that game, you'll likely like the rest!
