About Me
Professor of Political Science, McGill University—specializing in Middle East politics and security. I've previously worked for the Political and Security Policy Staff of the (Canadian) Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, as an intel analyst, and as a consultant to various governments and development agencies on conflict-sensitive development.

I also do work on conflict and peacebuilding simulation, largely as it relates to education and training. I coedit the Paxsims blog (http://paxsims.wordpress.com).
