Currently trying to keep my Studio alive while I try to learn mapping on the computer!

It is a whole new way of doing things, but if you can translate your style to electrons, you probably have a good grasp of the toughest part. It was easy for some of us; my style sucked, so I could start from the beginning, with no standards to live up to, and everything was an improvement. But yours is far, far better, and a Rick Barber piece of art is immediately recognizable.
Computer graphics are cool. If software can enable me to do maps that don't turn gamers to stone or render them blind, it can make your work positively immortal. There's nothing like sitting over a drawing board with a marker or pencil, but as you say it is a digital world.
Best of luck in getting through those tough times. I still have a laminated roll of the maps to SUMMER STORM I bought from you many years ago (can't remember what gaming convention it was...). While I like a lot of your 20th Century wargame artwork (e.g., SPEED OF HEAT, LANDSHIPS, etc), those maps for the La Bataille and Battles of the Age of Reason games are simply amazing! To say nothing of the maps you've been doing for the games on Gettysburg and the like...so we look forward to more. I still hope that some of revisions you've done for other games (e.g., Columbia's GETTYSBURG: BADGE OF COURAGE) someday creep into updates/reprints!
