Wargamers of Western New England / Eastern New York

Just wondering if there is anyone else out there who lives remotely close to me. Sure would be great to play FTF other than my usual four days of the year at WBC!

Profile Information

Your introduction to consim gaming:
I came into gaming through that hardcore simulation known to true grognards everywhere.........Avalon Hill's Yellowstone. Really. I had an uncle who played wargames when he was in college. One year we all went on a family trip to Yellowstone and he bought my family the game for Christmas. We played it a few times and liked it well enough. I think my teachers were baffled when I began asking whether or not elk exert a strong zone of control.
Your favorite game(s):
Great Campaigns of the American Civil War
Flying Colors
Battles of the American Revolution
Panzer
Amateurs to Arms
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
Roads to Gettysburg
What game(s) have you played recently?
Mr. Madison's War
Amateurs to Arms
Bitter Woods
Battles of the American Revolution

Hey Rob I'm more a gear head but I could talked into a naval game - I don't know much about Flying Colors so I'll take a look

Thanks for the invite, Craig. I plan to come to Central CT Wargamers meeting soon, but it probably won't be until May. I'd love to get in some Flying Colors with you. We're starting playtesting on the second volume in the series. It would be great if you want to give that a try.

I am a member of Central CT Wargamers. But if you don't wanna go that far, come on down to Enfield some time. I'm a grognard and a naval enthusiast too , and would love to learn Floying Colors.
