Welcome to the CONSIMWORLD Social website, Rob!  I sincerely hope you can connect with other gamers here so you can play the games you want and not just on Skype!  I think you will find some groups on the games you like (e.g., Eastern Front games) and--if you don't--you can create some groups of your own for others to discover and join!

As for me, I'm also an Eastern Front wargame fan but have difficulty finding time for the really big games I love the most.  So I'm settling for the smaller titles like Revolution Games's RED TYPHOON and KONIGSBERG.  I also play nearly all the tactical systems out there.

Right now I've got GDW's old AVALANCHE: THE SALERNO LANDINGS on the table.  Got tons of opponents in the area, but with the virus restrictions we don't get together for face to face and I have no patience to play on a computer!

Also love First World War games of any kind--my favorite tactical system are the RED POPPIES campaigns that Compass Games' publishes.  But I think GREAT WAR COMMANDER is pretty cool, too.  Used to play IN THE TRENCHES (Grenier/Tiny Battle Publishing) and Avalanche's derivative Panzer Grenadier system.  Air and naval WW I games are great and I loved FATAL ALLIANCES as a strategic treatment.
