Panzer Leader...late 70's. I thought the box cover was cool and had to have it. As I recall, I found PL at a "Ben Franklin" dimestore (do those even exist anymore?) and invested my hard earned cash. $10 was a lot of money to a 13-year old! After that, AH and SPI games were everywhere and several friends joined in the fun. Gaming bliss... :D
Your favorite game(s):
ASL (crazy complicated, but great stuff)
ASLSK (see above...not as crazy)
Combat Comander (chaotic bliss)
Lock 'n Load (fun stuff)
ATS (The armor system ASL should have?)
C&C: Ancients (Simple is good...with meaningful decisions...and some luck)
Railroad Tycoon (yeah, it's a euro...but awesome, nonetheless!)
What game(s) are you currently playing (solitaire, FTF, PBEM, etc.) or wish to play next?
Fire and Fury, Hold the Line, reading rules to countless other games...
What game(s) have you played recently?
ASLSK, C&C: Ancients, Hold the Line, Speed Circuit, some euros
In general, how much time do you spend gaming?
2-3 hours a week. Does reading about games and rule books count? If so, make that "a lot."
How big is your game collection?
Your local game club(s) and/or where you reside (let's network!)
