The Unofficial Der Weltkrieg Group

Formerly a Der Weltkrieg group, as no one indicated that they wanted any of this material, and I have no way of shutting this down I wanted to clear off the group name for some one in the future that may have wanted to use it.This group is, basically, closed to new members, and may well disappear if I can get John Kranz to do it.See More

Small world indeed, Steve. I've been in the KC metro area 12 years now but have lived coast to coast so if one's lived in the US there's a decent chance I've lived somewhere not too far away!

Panzer Battles (JTS) Competition

Announcing SDC's 'Panzer Battles' Competition

Giving you another crack at it...

http://www.theblitz.org/message_boards/showthread.php?tid=65518

David Freer's post over on the Blitz is not the only chance to score a copy of the first Panzer Battles title.

SDC's contest will be a little different than David's being run at The Blitz, in that Scenario Design Center's is a drawing.

The way it works is as follows - all you need to do is drop me a line at:

pzb_contest at hist-sdc dot com

Tell me what you would like the Panzer Battles series to be - these may be published on the site (however if that is something that you would rather not have done -please just mention it to me - and that works as well.).

What you will get in return is a number (issued in order of an entry being received.). You should hang on to…

New updates

We're getting ready to start rolling updates for the various series... if you would like to help test these please keep an eye on this forum. Not going to be an in-depth testing process, but would like to get a wide sampling of machines to run the new exe's on before sending them out.

SPW Design Input Requested

Originally posted at CSW DWK Discussion Folder

In the design of the Grand Campaign game, it is much easier to deal with a "standardized" supply point. That is a supply point that supplies 4 strength points for an attack, rather than nationality based supply points that are designed to supply a single national division for an attack. This is because of the complications of production and shipping and so on not present in scenario games.

Yet this obviously raises an important issue, how to deal with…
