Todd H. Beckman replied to Patrick Carroll's discussion Which games do you play solo? in the group Lone Wolves
"I have played B-17 Queen of the Skies a ton and the B-26 variant.  Also I am learning to play Fields of Fire and really want to get into that game.  Was playing Picket Duty.   I play most of my games solo. "

B-26: The Marauder Strikes!

The B-26 has arrived in the European Theater of Operations. It has now joined the B-17, B-24 and the Lancaster over the skies of war torn Europe...Martin B-26 Marauder: The Wingless Wonder was the name of a variant of Avalon Hill's B-17: Queen of the Skies solitaire boardgame. A draft of B-26 was available for play testing which used the B-17: Queen of the Skies rules and B-17 was needed to play. Everything has changed since then, and B-26: The Marauder Strikes! has completly new mechanics and…See More

Too bad you weren't closer we could have played ROH face to face... Iowa would be a long trip for a game.

I cannot wait. I am reading the book Bringing the Thunder by Gordon B. Robertson, JR.
He was B-29 pilot in WWII. He was stationed on Guam. The book is excellent. I am really getting a great insight of the plane.

Sir,
I starting playing back in 1976. My first game was Tobruk. I also had all of the SL games. I just back into wargaming with the Lock ‘N Load series which is excellent.
The picture that I have is of Nike Kinnick who was a great Iowa football star and who was sadly killed in a training flight. I will have twenty years in the Iowa Army National Guard in May.
