While my photo isn't quite as cool as yours, mine is taken at the Narva Castle in Estonia, opposite Ivangorod fortress across the river, not too far from the famed Luga River line and St Petersburg!

I confess a real passion for the Battle of Stalingrad; was involved with both the AH TURNING POINT: STALINGRAD playtest in the late 1980s and made some contributions for L2's STREETS OF STALINGRAD 3d Edition. I'd love to see more of your pictures--my last trip to the "old country" was in 1977, just before the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution. A lot has changed since then--and the military museums I'm sure are far, far better!

Welcome to the social website! Wow--you are seriously into OCS in a way I can only dream of. I love monster games too but haven't done GB2 or CB. Last one was HUBE'S POCKET. Was also a KORSUN POCKET fanatic for many years. Haven't yet found a monster Russian Front game that I was enamored with--hoping the reissue of PROUD MONSTER by Compass Games will fill that bill. FIRE IN THE EAST/SCORCHED EARTH was too much and WAR IN THE EAST wasn't enough! I did like TRIAL OF STRENGTH but never got through a whole campaign.
