Hello Enrico,
I'm a big fan of your blog 1799 2nd Coalition Italian Campaign,
and I'm writing to ask you were I can dig up some information regarding
the battle of Casteggio-Montebello.
I confess that I joined ConsimWorld just to ask you a bunch of questions.
Have you published books in Italian or English on wargaming ?
I am not a competitor in the field just looking for some decent research material. Thank You for your earnest effort and research.
Sure, go ahead and do it. I will eventually get back to that system for future games.
GMT did a tremendous job with Britain Stands Alone, and I love the way it turned out. I went with Lock 'n Load because the game was out of print, with little chance at the time of coming back, and Lock 'n Load approached me. It seemed like a great opportunity, and it is.
The art on the new one will be much different, and meet Lock 'n Load's own standards for style and substance. I'm very pleased with what I've seen so far. Plus, all the variants previously printed in C3i magazine will be fully incorporated into the game, with maybe a couple of more thrown in for good measure.
Finally, there will be an update to the order of battle. I wanted aircraft carriers from the beginning, but they were taken out in development, on the grounds that the Fleet Air Arm would have been stripped of pilots to fill out Fighter Command had the Battle of Britain gone really badly. Well, I want them back, and I intend to put them in the new edition.
I hope this helps!
this is ConSim ... World !!
Ciao
