Women and Wargaming

Here in Italy women are considered as the natural opponent vs. wargamers. Female partners and wives are strong units, (their most feared weapons are vacuum cleaners), who tend to hinder male playing moments often groaning, grumbling and complaining more than what's normally due ...
How is the worldwide situation ? Is there any gamer who had the luck to find some female gamers ?

Enrico,
Sure, go ahead and do it. I will eventually get back to that system for future games.

We're going with the same map area, as well as the off-map display for naval units. So you'll get all of England and Wales. Scotland remains an off-map holding area, since the campaign will probably be decided much farther south.

Hi Enrico,
GMT did a tremendous job with Britain Stands Alone, and I love the way it turned out. I went with Lock 'n Load because the game was out of print, with little chance at the time of coming back, and Lock 'n Load approached me. It seemed like a great opportunity, and it is.

The art on the new one will be much different, and meet Lock 'n Load's own standards for style and substance. I'm very pleased with what I've seen so far. Plus, all the variants previously printed in C3i magazine will be fully incorporated into the game, with maybe a couple of more thrown in for good measure.

Finally, there will be an update to the order of battle. I wanted aircraft carriers from the beginning, but they were taken out in development, on the grounds that the Fleet Air Arm would have been stripped of pilots to fill out Fighter Command had the Battle of Britain gone really badly. Well, I want them back, and I intend to put them in the new edition.

I hope this helps!
