Is it time to factor in the German use of Meth in wargames?

If you have not had the opportunity to read German historian Norman Ohler's  Blitzed, the least you can do is trek over to the (free) BBC History Magazine Extra Podcast website and give it a listen. It will change your view on the invasion of France.

Absolutely yes.  If a game has rules for fatigue, there could be some initial advantage to the Germans, as they tweak their way to alertness, but then if the campaign goes on too long, then there would be a crash, and a loss of effectiveness and perhaps an entire halt to operations as they recover.

This also has me rethinking the panzers' halt before Dunkirk.  Was this because of mechanical wear and tear on the vehicles, or more because of the drugs?
