Dear Americans fight with all your might Obama's proposed Socialist Healthcare proposals. The British National Health Service (NHS) started life after WW2 with the noble intention of providing healthcare for all for free. Up untill around 1980 it worked very well depending on how much money the government was prepared to spend on it. After 1980 the socialist Left have slowly taken over most British institutions ,and have enforced Political Correctness with a Stalinist zeal. Britain is now not the democracy you may think it is. Britain now does not have any borders, and has been subjected to levels of immigration which are criminally irresponsible for such a small island nation. We are not alone as it is happening all over Europe, as prescribed by the "Frankfurt School". This has lead to the ridiculous situation whereby someone who has paid into the system all their lives suddenly loses their appointment to a newly arrived immigrant. In some towns in England people cannot find an NHS dentist because they are fully booked with new arrivals. Of course to complain is "Racist". I would say your system acts as a deterrent to unwanted immigration, and the British system in your country would be the beginning of the end of your country as you Know it.

Never hear of John Smith - is he related to "Sam Smith" as in the Pale Ale? Mmmmm beeer...

Opinions are important and so is discussion - I'll be honest when I listen to the BBC I tend to hear pronouncements and not news. When Sarkozy was elected they said "unpopular" president - does make him a bit more popular then the other one eh...

I'm back and after consuming 6 pints of John Smith's Special I've decided to change my mind. Britain is indeed a wonderful place, and not a bankrupt cesspit. Our leader Comrade Brown is a wonderful man, and not a lying cowardly traitor who deserves the Neville Chamberlain award for appeasement. I shall now prepare for my next Blog Post which will be "Unelected Presidents and Prime ministers of the 21st century". Feel free to squabble amongst yourselves.

just wondering.
as you know there is a health care system in Germany and Austria. The main problem arising around this
is the increase of unit labor costs. This causes a decrease of reaction time when people getting in to jobs after a depression because the enterpriser has to pay for all this at first. This will change the wild American way to a social democratic system for everyones even he has a job. Everyone feels secure but will have no job at same time. People will vote for politicians doing similar things like a tax-financed pension system.
Adenauer did this in the 50s and earned the greatest election victory in german history.
So for you I hope you will get a Healthcare System. But for me I hope you dont get it because this time the stron US market pulls all us out of the depression. Next time it is not like easy. :)

"...the people who choose to work have to pay for the workshy..."

There are a lot of people who would like to work, but can't . . . and i don't ascribe to the "I'm OK, the Hell with You" line of thought. Whatever plan we put in place will be far from perfect . . . but it will be long stretch better than what we have now.

> Anybody that speaks out against the Bilderberger New World Order are silenced by PC crap.

> Nobody silences me.

So which is it? Silenced or not silenced?

> The brainwashed British public are terrified to speak out against what they know to be wrong.

I know the BNP to be wrong, but have no fear of speaking out against them.

I loved the way Ian Holm played Bilderberger in The Fellowship of the Ring. He was awesome.
