to start a blog post on my activities? How about what I'm doing (or supposed to be doing) right now and see where it goes.
have many gaming interests and not near enough time to game; so what am I going to do about it? Quit my job? No.
Go fire up ADC, VASL, or Cyberboard and process one of my long dormant PBeM games? No.
Read some rules to games I've purchased but not played? No.
I'll tell you what I'm going to do! I'm going to spend my free time writing a blog post about not having enough time to game of course!
with most gamers, I have a full-time job, a family w/kids, a house to maintain, and so forth - There's never enough time for games - I barely get to check all the folders I've subscribed to on Consimworld; and I've only subscribed to games and publishers that I own (Ok, and MarketPlace). I stay away from the Coffee Table, Literature, Blogs and other such sundry folders.
then are my recent gaming (in)activities:
Face to Face:
I'm very lucky to have several opportunities to game FTF. I have a semi-weekly game night at a friends house (Thursdays 6:00-9:00 pm.) We just completed ATO's Imperial Sunset
I lost this game as the Allies in an IJN auto-victory at the start of the 2nd day turn due to not blockading the beach-head sufficiently. GRRR! We liked the way the game played and will probably try it again in the future with some of the recently published variants. Next up is Desert Duel
covering First Alamein (ATO subscriber bonus mini game) Designed by Mike Rinella. We're looking forward to D-Day ('91) ... Stay tuned to see what else we have planned.... P.S: Trevor whips my sorry butt about 90% of the time.
To be continued....
