I found it a most interesting movie. Also listened to the director's audio-commentary.

I saw the movie last year during a French film festival downunder. Probably one of the most brutal scenes I have ever seen involving Napalm...it really hit home about the pointlessness of the whole thing.

There is software that will allow a computer to become a zone-independent DVD player.

I bought my copy from a large French bookstore (FNAC) and I believe it has English subtitles (I have to double check that), but then again DVDs in Europe can't be played in DVD-players in the US, and vice versa. But the film is now being released in Sweden so it might well be that it also will be released in the US. Check it out.

If the movie is as good as this trailer, this film will be a contender for my top ten of all war flicks, right up there with Jean Renoir's classic LA GRANDE ILLUSION.

Is this out on DVD yet, or is the October release for October 2009?
