Alpha testing still in progress, but I found a few things off the bat that I am currently addressing. The terrain tiles didn't work as I had hoped, and the game was way too long. I'm making the tiles larger, and I'm going to allow tile stacking. The first tile placed on any hex will always be the terrain in that hex for movement, but a second player may stack another tile on top for the river portion of the tile, since it is necessary to be able to have 2 different rivers going through the same hex. This will alleviate rivers stopping for no reason, other than someone got to a hex before you, and due to their size I think it is appropriate to allow 2 rivers or more to occupy a single hex. The larger hex size will also decrease play time.
