I happened to come across this game today on an Abandonware website which I have never seen before. I downloaded it, and was absolutely amazed at this game. So involved, each turn has you sitting there for ages planning your strategy, and the map is so well laid out, a hex grid done in an isometric way.
So impressed with this gem, i thought it would be a good one for my website, and I also thought that the lads at ConSim World would also enjoy it.
As with all games, i do vet them to make sure that they are abandoned. This one appeared not to be. Although it was originally published by the defuncted Talonsoft, the Battleground series and others that it produced were bought up by Matrix Games.
Since Matrix is still very much alive and kicking, I decided it was wrong to make it available (I do have some morals and scruples despite what some people think :-P).
Sorry guys, but I will add that if you can pick up this game, do so, you will not be dissappointed.
