Great looking magazine, and there are some interesting reviews in it too :-)

Olivier, at long last my issue arrived in the mail. What can I say--I am blown away by each and every issue. haven't gotten into either of the two games (yes, I am one of your original 1000 subscribers, so I got the extra STORM OVER KUNLUN PASS, 1939). But even without the games, the articles are first rate. There isn't another review magazine I need; this has got everything I could want. Expensive, yes, but worth it. Keep up the good work. Sure there are a few glitches (layout on page 14 has card artwork clipping some of the text), but nothing serious and I know you'll get better. The graphics are visually exciting and convey the feel of the games quite well; the reviews are top notch and do a great job showing the strong and weak points of the titles covered (a good example is David Hughes's review of 1805: SEA OF GLORY--marvelous piece). Another job well done. I for one look forward to BATTLES #4!

Again, I must commend you on the graphics. Very nice.

Oh, I see counters like "2/5 CP"--maybe I can find pieces that represent my former bosses, Ernie Cheatham and George Christmas. Cheatham was a battalion commander, Christmas a company commander. That would be fun....

Just ordered and looking forward to #3. I've really enjoyed reading the articles in the last two issues.

Looks awesome, as usually. Placed my one-year subscription.
