If you watched a commercial and a guy with a neatly trimmed black beard was trying to sell you something, and he was so loud that you had to turn the volume down, that you saw and heard Billy Mays. He was one of the greatest television pitchmen of all time.

Well, I have *no* idea who Billy Mays is ... and I'd STILL much rather talk about him than Michael Jackson. :^P

wow that sucks, I actually liked him
Pitch Men is a great show
All the local Pittsburgh newscasts ran stories about Billy and his family today, they interviewed his brother, they still live in Pittsburgh.

You've seen how I eat and what I eat, so you know what to expect when I turn fifty.

Hey, who's gonna want my game collection?

Newsflash..he had heart disease. Prolly had a heart attack in his sleep. Was on pain pills for his bad hips, but taking the correct dose. More than likely eating way too many sausages!!!

Billy Mays was a pitchman who yelled a lot, but very effectively. Vince beat up overpriced hookers.

Billy Mays was a fellow Pittsburgh guy. He grew up in McKees Rocks, a few miles down the Ohio River from Downtown Pittsburgh.

I just wish he'd sold wargames, as the industry would be in much better shape.
