Every once and a while, my faith is renewed....

Every once and a while, my faith in wargame manufacturers is renewed, and it happened most recently with Lost Battalion Games and their game: Sergeants on the Eastern Front. I had ordered the game because they claimed (on their website) that it was ready and shipping.... After a month I inquired with the company: hey, where's my order? Eventually they responded that they weren't ready and they would return my money. On top of that, they promised to send me a copy of the game for FREE when it finally became available. Yeah, Yeah, I thought, I'll believe it when I see it.
Sure enough, one day the game landed on my doorway via UPS and... what can I say,.... I was impressed. Not only with the quality of the game, but the folks at LBG.
A week or so ago we broke it out and had a go. Better than the original. There's a pic below and you make the call. (The original is on the upper left/left.)
One odd thing with the new version, btw, is that the maps and counters are cut with a laser..... meaning that you need to clean the black ash on the counters with a wet wipe prior to playing.

Looks great! Sounds like LBG treated you right. They're a nice bunch - I've met one or two of them at a convention.

I ended up buying the expansion and I look forward to the "sands" module.

Great! A win for both of you. It's always better to have a happy customer and a smaller profit than an angry customer and no future profit at all.
