I was thinking about orders in a game that are pre-set on both sides before you execute them at the same time! a counter with a blank top but many differrent colors on the flip side, so attack forward may be green and retreat May be red, flank left yellow, flank right blue etc... if youve played a game such as ASL you retreat in a strick manner, so simular could be done for other commands as above.

That's basically how the Command Decision miniatures game works.

you can apply this idea to anygame you want! also you could have 2 colors eg:red-yellow(retreat left) red-blue(retreat right)

you can just place your orders on your chit stacks then follow your game rules but also follow orders .
