Good News, Everyone! Futurama is Back!

Why Fox killed Futurama is beyond me. It is an incredibly funny, witty show, and one of my favorite animated series of all time.

The good news is that it is coming back to TV, with new episodes to be aired by Comedy Central, starting with back to back episodes on Thursday.

This is good news for both nerds and geeks, as well anyone who learned the basics of strategy and wargaming from Zapp Brannigan's Big Book of War.

So onward into the next thousand years.

I've seen all of the new episodes so far, and I don't think that the Planet Express crew has missed a beat. I hope that this is like Family Guy, coming back from the dead, and so successful that a second cancellation becomes unthinkable.

I don't know if I'll get to see the first two episodes on Comedy Central, as I'll be Origins.

I tried one of the DVD's - the Beast with a Billion Backs - did not work for me.

Hopefully, season 6 will - the first two episodes are ready to watch tonight on my PC....seems they got 'leaked' - an excellent marketing ploy for geeky shows like this.
