Fondling Oscar

One reason why I've been out of touch for a while (especially towards the end of last year) was that I was hard at work on the visual effects for a movie called The Curious Cast of Benjamin Button. The company that I work for, Digital Domain, was responsible for creating the completely digital, aged heads of Benjamin that you see during the entire first hour of the film. It was challenging, ground-breaking work, and last weekend it all paid off at the Academy Awards.

To the right is a photo of me holding one of the Oscars we brought home.

If only wargaming were this glamorous... ;-)

Thanks! An Oscar is very solid, that's for sure. But it doesn't feel as heavy as a BAFTA award (we won that one too). Those suckers weigh a ton.
