Thanks Paul - I really want to learn but classes have never worked for me at all...

I have been using the German version of Rosetta Stone daily for the last two weeks. With it I have made more progress than I did in 12 weeks of classes. It is worth the money.

Sure will.... One of the nice things about war gaming - it makes you keep learning.

I'd be interested to hear how that system of learning works. Once you've gotten into it, will you come back here and post some feedback?

Yes and no... I've tried adult education courses and the minimum for cost here in the Boston area is around $250 for a 4 - 6 week course with a couple of nights a week. The books still cost $50 minimum. So this way I figure I should still be "ahead". And the big then is I might be able to learn French this time.

Good way of learning . . . but rather pricey.
