Since MArch L2 Design Group has promised to send me my game ordered from them in March - first they said they sent it to the wrong address. Got it with our move and all but EVERY package sent via UPS or USPS came to us in Tampa. But ok....since then Lembit Tohver and seven Art L PROMISED time and time again to send the game. What do you think has happened? NADA - NOTHING - ZIP.

I had preordered L2's version of War at Sea, and it took so long for it to get published that I had completely forgotten that I ordered until it showed up in the mail.

I finally got the game. My comment should have read even rather than seven...

I thought we had pre-ordered it years ago at Origins but...shrug....

What was the issue with Pacific Rim?

I too have had a game delivery issue problems with L2.  I made a prepub for a game,Russia Besieged. Of course the prepub was 2 years in the wait, so in the meantime I moved to a new address.  Meanwhile I made two separate orders for in stock items delivered to my new home. Fine.  When the Prepub game was finally shipped, it went to my old address. I assummed wrong that L2 would update my address based on my previous two orders. I was wrong.

I never got my game. L2 suggested I go door knocking to my old place to see,... Ahem. I did not.

Eventually, I paid for a copy of my game at retail price. I got zero for my missing game. Oh, L2 said some day in the future, I should ask for some sort of deal.  Right.

With that fiasco and my other prepub nightmares from GRD and Pacific Rim, I no longer prepub.

I have to say that I haven't bought anything from L2 in the last year or so ... partly because their website has been 'under construction' for so long.

That said, I have not had any bad experiences with L2; delays, yes, but not unexpected ones.  I accepted that back in the '70s from AH/SPI ...and assume that game companies are mostly that way.  :^p

Smitty, maybe you could clarify what you meant in the middle sentence - I'm not understanding what you meant.

I had a bad experience with Art as well, and will only deal with resellers from now on.  He seems like a nice guy, but leaves a lot to be desired in the integrity department.

Smitty,

Don't miss the L2 $500 Hell of a Deal Halloween special....you can probably combine the shipping with you other yet to be delivered games...LOL

Bad stuff Smitty, that's all I hear about that company.

I guess it's just a 2 man show trying to run a big operation?

After my first experience with L2, I decided never to deal with them. Good luck.
