We are trying to make the computer game, Heroes of Stalingrad, more than just another turn-based wargame. To that end, there is story --in both the German and Russian campaigns. Of course the tale follows historical events but is not entirely contricted by them. One of the methods that we use to move the story along are art panels...comic book panels, if you like. Here is one of a MKIV engaging targets after the crossing at Kalach.

Shane...it's up to you. Yes, we have plans and I've posted them (Noville Feb, HoB April, ATZ and RoH before Origins), but the customers dictate the real release schedule. If we get 150 orders for FH2 tomorrow, I can promise you everything in the office will be redirected to producing that game as fast as possible.

Hey Mark,
Kudos on the beautiful artwork and success of your games. I am getting ready to make an order from your website because I can no longer resist those beautiful boards and counters. But I do have a quick question. Are you planning on any extensions to build onto the Forgotten Heroes game? I haven't found any "What's in the future for Lock 'n Load publishing threads!" So c'mon, what's in the future for Lock 'n Load?

ah, here...I don't understand how to imbed a video.

Thanks. The art director (Mark V. Martial) then takes this piece and places it on a standardized, torn-paper background, and when the game calls for it, it is displayed on the screen. As you can see in this video.

I like the style of this piece, the subdued colours. It has refreshingly different from the usually World War II illustrations that I have seen.
