My first Fighting Formations game is on VASSAL of all places!

What happened is in the chat room I managed to find a nice wargamer named Shaun from England that had no issue with creating a new game and teaching me how to use VASSAL as well as the basics to the game. Next thing I know we are on turn 3 of scenario zero and I am playing the game quite smoothly.

Ummm... I'm technologically challenged... I can tell you to get to and then search for Fighting Formations. That will take you to the main page for the game. You can subscribe to get updates as other folks discuss the game, scroll down and read through forum posts, check out graphics, etc.

On CSW Forum, use the pull-down menu near the top-left of the screen labelled: Go to:

Scroll down to "Era: World War II - GAME SERIES", scroll down to the Fs and click on Fighting Formations. Once you are in the forum folder, you can subscribe to the folder at the bottom of the page.

We're a friendly lot - come drop in for a visit!  I hope that helps.  :0)

Awesome do you have links to the BGG forum or to the Consimworld forum?

Very cool, Hudson! There's a great community of online players who seem happy and willing to walk anyone through a game on Vassal. If you have any questions about the game, we have a forum on CSW and another on BGG. Pop on over to either one and you'll get answers right quick from the design/development team and/or any number of fellow players.  :0)
